Blandonnet (Line-Ups)

Hier kann man Line-Ups und Landungen auf der Runway 05 fotografieren.

Die Location befindet sich am Rand eines kleinen Parkplatzes. Dabei wird die freie Sicht durch einen Zaun beschränkt, was das Fotografieren erschwert, aber aufgrund der geringen Geschwindigkeit beim Line-Up nicht wircklich stört.

Man erreicht die Location mit dem Bus (Linien 23, 28, 57 und Y) von der Station Aéroport aus, wobei man in Blandonnet aussteigt. Die Station ist von Genf aus auch mit den Tramlinien 14 und 18 erreichbar. Dort geht man unter der Brücke hervor und folgt der Route de Meyrin bis man den Chemin des Papillons erreicht und diesem bis zu seinem Ende folgt. Dort sieht man rechter Hand den Parkplatz, auf dem sich die Location befindet. Man erreicht die Location auch vom Bahnhof Vernier aus. Von dort aus folgt man dem Chemin de Coquelicots, überquert die Fussgängerbrücke und folgt von da aus ebenfalls dem Chemin des Papillons.

Here you can make photos of line-ups and landings on Runway 05. This location is located right next to a little parking lot. There is a fence through which you need to spot. As the planes are pretty slow during line up, this shouldn't be a major Problem.

You get there by taking the bus (lines 23, 28, 57 and Y) or the tram (lines 14 and 18) until Vernier, Blandonnet. Follow the Route de Meyrin until you've reached the Chemin de Papillons. You follow this street until you're at ist end. There you can find teh parking lot with the spotting location on your right hand side. You can also take a train to Vernier and follow the Chemin de Coquelicots, use the pedestrian overpass and then also follow the Chemin de Papillons.
